Podcasting meets E-learning

Just for the record, this guy posted on this first...Podcasting for Education
BUT I plan to lay this on my boss and the prez very soon...having not read this before I DO consider my idea original for my brain! The school I work for could be on the very CUTTING EDGE of e-learning...e-notes, e-lectures, e-interviews, and this would make the e-library absolutely ROCK. Students could review info in the car, jogging, wherever. And this lowers the "buy a degree" mentality placed on some e-learning.
Oh yeah, this would place some "stress" on instructors BUT that is their job. More technology, you bet. More money? You bet. Larger enrollment and noterieity? YOU BET! We win! A podcast on for tech support...you know, "Click the Start button" or "How to check for Spyware" or "Why you should not be taking an e-learning class, because YOU DON"T KNOW HOW TO TURN ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!" ...things like that...
That's all for now, but as far as my school goes...YOU HEARD IT FROM ME FIRST...that goes for you AB, CATBOY, SON OF POOF, and even IP!!! But you guys don't really care after you all go to work for FOX!!
In a weird way I feel like a young Micheal J. Fox...

Hi Lionel, in addition to D'Arcy's ideas, You should check out what Stephen Downes has put together - Basically Stephen has scraped a set number of blogs that deal with Educational technology, and whenever they mention something relating to podcasting the post gets sucked into this feed. You'll see lots of folks are thinking about the idea.
You might also find it interesting to back up a level and see what else he's put together.
Good luck!
