Describe your perfect day Sleep in, nice breakfast with my wife, play with the kids, nap, play some guitar with the boys, nap, out to dinner with just my wife (sorry no kids), then...the rest is private!!!Alternative selfish version: Spend all day in a recording studio, then the night playing a gig in front of a decent sized crowd!!2. Which bad habit do you have you'd like to lose and why? I NEED TO QUIT SMOKING!!! It is unhealthy, nasty, stupid, and costly...
3. You can meet one famous person from today's world - who is it? Pete Townshend--although I don't know what I would say!! Or maybe David Gilmore from Pink Floyd...no probably Pete...
4. You win the lottery - what selfish item would you buy for yourself first? (nothing boring like, i'd pay off all my bills) Full blown recording studio, a few guitars and amps---all built into my big and beautiful two-story house with the huge back yard and lagoon pool!!! And I would by Angell a VW Bug!!5. What was the last book you read?I hate this question because I never have time to read. Although I do read a chapter of the Bible every day. As far as FULL books--Wild at Heart by John Eldridge ---man-book about unleashing passion in a locked up heart.

Happy Birthday to my Dream Girl!

Originally uploaded by stradasphere. On a smoky Friday or Saturday night I saw the most lovely vision I could imagine. I was playing guitar in a band called Beggar's Theater at Long Wong's in Tempe. During one of the first few songs, I looked out into the smoky bar and saw this brunette, an absolutely gorgeous brunette, and she saw me. I know I rocked out extra hard to make sure I got her attention, and I did. I found out her name and approached her. Her name was Angell. She was engaged to a guy who roadied for the other band we were playing with. We all partied that night and she barely said a word but I stared at her often. On that night my life and destiny changed!
I did my best to steal her away from her fiancé and I tried to be her boyfriend. But I was a mess and things didn?t quite work out. Then she told me she was pregnant, it was mine, and she was keeping it. I tried hard to deny it but in my heart I knew and secretly hoped it was mine. The next year was a rollercoaster. Then my son was born. I wanted to make it work, marry her and keep my boy. I just had a couple things to do first, like get sober.
But this beautiful young girl committed herself to her son and did "what she had to do" to take care of him. She worked hard to take care of him and protect him. Harder than most moms do. I knew I wanted her and I wanted my boy. I tried for four years to convince her and she remained focused first on taking care of her son. She sent him to private school and sacrificed most of her social life to be a good mom. In the meantime, I cleaned up my act and did my best to win her back. It took four years.
During that time, I missed her and wanted her in a way I can't describe. I daydreamed and night dreamed about her. She was how I judged beauty, she was the epitome of beauty. It took time and I won her back with a lot of help from God.
I couldn't live without her and finally married her. She had to adjust to living with the man who once broke her heart. I got the best part of the deal. I married the most beautiful girl in the world. My dream girl. She is still the most beautiful girl in the world. The only other who comes close is our daughter who looks just like her.
My wife still devotes herself to be the best mom she can be. She is also a wonderful, lovely, sexy, and devoted wife. Sometimes I stare at her pictures at work or watch her when she isn?t looking and thank God for such a beautiful, smart, and loving wife.
One this day some years back, God decided to bring an angel down from heaven and added an L to her name and put her on the earth. The world became more beautiful and it has been ever since. I am the luckiest man in this world because this beauty lives in my house!

Move it or Lose it
Big news in my little world. I have decided to try and transfer into our sales department. Why? You say? All the good things we want from a job--money and the opportunity for advancement. I have been basically doing the same thing for over a year, hanging on to hopes of promotion or getting into management. No dice. There obviously is a pretty low ceiling in my dept and I have hit it. Everywhere else I have worked I ended up moving into some sort of supervisory role which is where I succeed best. I love team building and surpassing goals. Sitting at a desk creating cutting edge, world class e-learing has its limitations for A personality people like me.
Honestly, I was hoping my boss would fight to keep me but alas (no offence). I am looking forward to the opportunity to make more money and move a little faster. I plan to get a real high-tech looking headset and dress in black every day so I look more like a CTU (24) opperative than a phone sales guy. Then I plan to kick butt and move up!
